Sensory play with natural items and manmade

There are soooo many toys available to children these days and they play a great role in their development, but it is also vital to expose them to real life items. At Little Bowerbird Studio we see the benefit of both and here we have combined some awesome RoboAlive Sea animals as well as shells, coral and sand.

It created so much new language for this Little bowerbird and he even managed to pick up the fish and then the shells when asked. Lucky the fish weren't alive though! He loved chasing them around the bowl.

Would you believe this kept him occupied and engaged for 45 minutes! This is unheard of in our house!!

We love seeing their little faces light up and every week brings a new sensory experience for them at Art class.
